Sicily

Egadi Islands

Immersed in a beautiful natural setting of Mediterranean colors and surrounded by crystal clear sea, the Egadi Islands are a must-see destination for those who want to discover the beauty of our sea, for those who love diving and snorkeling, but also for those who like to take long walks surrounded by fragrant aromatic plants. Visit all the islands, especially Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo.

Hike up to Santa Caterina castle if you are looking for the best view in Favignana and enjoy the vista out over the Egadi Islands, Trapani and as far as Marsala.

It is also possible to organize different diving activities to see the most attractive underwater sites of the islands! The island of Favignana is home to countless coves, beaches and swimming spots, and we’re pretty sure that on a hot, sunny day, we would enjoy each and every moment spent at any of them. However, there are a few places that are extra special and really shouldn’t be missed like: Cala Rossa, Bue Marino, Cala Azzura , Cala Rotonda

Aeolian Islands

These beautiful islands attract thousands of tourists fascinated by the unspoiled nature, beaches, crystal clear sea and charming villages.

For nature lovers, climbing Stromboli is one of Sicily’s not-to-be-missed experiences. Organized treks depart daily timed to reach the summit (924m) at sunset and to allow 45 minutes to an hour to observe the crater’s fireworks.

Lipari’s best coastal views are from a celebrated viewpoint known as Quattrocchi (Four Eyes), 3km west of town. Follow the road for Pianoconte and look on your left as you approach a big hairpin bend about 300m beyond the turnoff for Spiaggia Valle Muria. Stretching off to the south, great cliffs plunge into the sea, while in the distance plumes of sinister smoke rise from the dark heights of neighbouring Vulcano.

Cala Junco is directly below Panarea’s prehistoric village, about 45 minutes south of San Pietro, steps lead down at a gorgeous little cove with a rock-strewn beach and dreamy aquamarine waters.

Taormina

On a rocky terrace high above the Ionian Sea on the east coast of Sicily, Taormina couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting. Views of the sea and Mt. Etna, often with a puff of steam wafting above its smoldering cone, are framed by flower-draped houses or by the finest Greek theater on the island. Gaze down upon Isola Bella: Marine park with crystal clear waters that is home to Taormina’s famous Blue Grotto.

Walk up to Chiesa Madonna della Rocca: The views from Taormina are amongst the most beloved in Sicily but this lesser visited dusty trail – it almost felt like a secret – affords the best views over Taormina itself. It’s also a nice way to have a slightly different experience in town from many others.

Visit the Greek theatre: Undeniably the most famous and a popular attraction in Taormina, the ancient theatre of Taormina is perhaps the finest testament on the island to the art, knowledge, and skill of the Greeks (although the Valley of the Temples would beg to differ).

Riposto

Riposto is a town overlooking the Ionian sea and it is located on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna, Riposto is the ideal place to enjoy an authentic and local stay, away from the chaos of the city and convenient for getting around, at the same time is a perfect starting point to explore the most famous attractions of eastern Sicily.

Mount Etna has become an almost obligatory stop among the various historical and cultural attractions in Sicily. Mount Etna is one of the highest volcano in Europe and on of the most active in the world. The volcano shaped the Sicilian history and landscape and still affects the island today. It is an UNESCO World Heritage site since 2013 and the smoking volcano craters and the old and new lava flows are always an impressive experience for visitors.

Alcantara River Park is a real natural oasis, in the heart of the homonymous valley, which holds the spectacular Gorges of Alcantara, geological formations that have given life to rocky canyons, famous all over the world. The beauty of this place has made it one of the best-known tourist attractions in eastern Sicily, where fun and adventure are guaranteed!

It is also possible to arrange a day at Etnaland, one of the largest and most renowned water parks in Italy; it is a 45-minute drive from Riposto.
